As a company with a strong sense of social responsibility, we have always been committed to promoting the development of environmental protection. Since the launch of the first environmental protection activity, our environmental initiatives have spanned several years, with the number of beneficiaries expanding year by year. From a few dozen participants in the beginning to hundreds and thousands of volunteers today, our footprints have spread everywhere, helping to protect beautiful landscapes.
This year, at the Guangxi factory, our DEI department joined hands with the factory to organize an environmental protection public welfare activity. Forty volunteers responded actively, and simultaneously, we also invited 20 children of employees to take part, all working together to contribute to environmental protection.
During the activity, volunteers and children worked together to clean up garbage in the community, taking practical action to reduce the burden on the environment. This not only effectively cleaned up the community environment and created a more comfortable living space for residents, but also provided a vivid lesson in environmental protection for employees' children in the process.
Heyuan Factory has always maintained a high level of enthusiasm and initiative in environmental protection activities, and this year has achieved fruitful results in various aspects. On January 9, 2024, the company's volunteer team conducted an environmental protection tree-planting activity in Donghu community, adding vitality to the community with greenery. On March 12, we not only held a tree-planting activity in the industrial park, but also organized volunteers to go to Shuangtou Village, Puqian Town for voluntary tree planting, further enhancing the awareness of voluntary tree planting of the whole people and creating a strong atmosphere of "planting green, protecting green and loving green".
On April 24, the team of volunteers once again took action to comprehensively improve the environment of the industrial park. They performed a carpet cleaning of the park's billboards, carefully scraping off each small advertisement from the walls and telegraph poles. At the same time, the volunteers also thoroughly cleaned the overpass and the garbage on the ground, making the park environment clean, beautiful and orderly. This created a comfortable working environment for employees and also demonstrated the company's good environmental protection image and social responsibility to society.
In Indonesia, we held an eco-printing workshop to celebrate Earth Day. Employees used natural materials such as flowers and leaves to print unique patterns on fabrics or tote bags. This way of incorporating natural elements into creation not only allowed everyone to appreciate the beauty of the environment, but also fostered a sense of responsibility for environmental protection. Through such creative activities, we encourage employees to practice environmental protection concepts in all aspects of life and integrate sustainable thinking into daily life.
From the community cleanup in Guangxi to the tree planting in Heyuan to the eco-printing in Indonesia, our environmental actions take different forms, but they all have the same goal - to protect our common home on Earth. Every time we bend down to pick up garbage, every time we plant a seedling with a shovel, and every time we create ecological art, it is our commitment to the future. We believe that through continuous effort and innovation, we can inspire more people to care for the environment and unite into a powerful force to protect the Earth.
