Happy Summer Vacation: Crafting Cherished Summer Memories for Kids

Every summer vacation should be a wonderful time for children to share the joy of family with their parents, but our employees and their children left behind at home are far away from each other, making it difficult to realize the wish of reunification. With a sense of social responsibility and a spirit of humanistic care, we organized the first Family Friendly Space (“FFS”) program in the summer of 2019, aiming to provide factory employees with the opportunity to reunite with their left-behind children. Fortunately, the FFS program has been well received by our employees since its launch and has been expanded in subsequent years to benefit more regions and families, with more than 300 families benefiting from the program by 2024.

This year, the FFS program was again successfully implemented in Guangxi and Heyuan, bringing colorful summer experiences to children in local factories.

At the Guangxi factory, the FFS program is strongly supported by the local factory and a total of 40 children participated in the program this year. To ensure the program runs smoothly, the factory has hired full-time teachers to teach the children on a daily basis.

In terms of activity content, the company has designed a rich variety of programs with full consideration of children's interests and needs. From environmental protection-themed handicrafts to let children build environmental protection awareness through hands-on practice; to small experiments on scientific and technological innovation to stimulate children's strong interest in science; to DEI courses and painting classes full of cultural heritage to enrich children's spiritual world and cultivate their artistic literacy and multicultural cognition. In the process, the children not only acquired knowledge and skills, but also learned gratitude, cooperation and sharing in interaction with teachers, volunteers and partners, and improved their overall quality in all aspects.

The Heyuan factory also officially launched the FFS program on July 18 this year. After registration and screening, a total of 43 children participated in the program. The company hired 2 professional kindergarten teachers and set up a service team of 14 members from the administration department to provide a safe and happy summer vacation environment for the children, so that they can learn through play and grow through learning.

During the program, the children participated in a series of exciting activities. In the outdoor sports activities, the laughter and athletic posture on the basketball court intertwined, the children in sports to improve physical fitness, and cultivate the spirit of teamwork; handmade food production, whether it is sushi or gyoza, the children handmade, not only exercise the ability to work with their hands, but also taste the fruits of their own labor; parent-child handmade activities, tie-dyed clothes became a bond of emotional exchange between parents and children, a piece of colorful works carried the warmth of the family. In the parent-child handmade activity, tie-dyed clothes became the bond of emotional communication between parents and children, and a piece of colorful works carried the warmth and joy of the family; McDonald's parent-child activity even pushed the atmosphere to the climax, and the children further enhanced the intimate relationship with their parents while enjoying the food and toys.


We have always believed that our employees are our company's most valuable asset, and their family happiness is an important cornerstone for our company's development. For this reason, we have created the FFS program with the hope of bringing special warmth and care to our employees and their families. By organizing children's vacation life in a scientific and reasonable way, the FFS program not only solves parents' worries, but also allows children to have a fulfilling and enjoyable vacation with their parents.

In the future, we will continue to improve and expand this program so that it can become an everlasting emotional bond between the company and its employees, working hand in hand for a better future.
